Dr. Tom Rogers and Jim Velos are the founding
executives. They are seen on the home page being interviewed on the
national television program "Heartland of America". On the program they
received the national "Keeping America Strong" award for their work in
improving the growth and profits of clients just like you.
They
have work with clients in industries such as manufacturing, banking,
health care, information technology, and distribution/service. Their
diversified and expanding client base continues to grow and prosper.
They were recently chosen to be the family business consultants for the
Automotive Recyling Association.

addition, they co-host radio program "Business Dis-eases: Cure Them or

Dr. Tom Rogers
Thomas A. Rogers, Ph.D., is an Industrial and Organizational
Psychologist. After receiving his doctorate from the Illinois Institute
of Technology, he authored “The Seven Deadly Sins of Family Business”
and “The Al Factor: The True Story of a 20th Century Businessman,
Everyman, All American and Unsung Hero”.
He continues to publish articles on performance management, hiring, and training effectiveness. Before founding The Rogers Group,
Tom grew a parts distribution enterprise into a statewide chain.
His experience as a salesperson, General Manager, and President earned
him a nomination as the National Executive of the Year.
After the successful sale of his family business, he achieved his
advanced degree while still working with family and other privately
held companies to eliminate “dis-eases” that drained profitability.
Tom is actively involved with interviewing, assessing and hiring
executives and employees. He developed the process on how to hire and
develop 5-star employees.
Jim Velos
Throughout his career, Jim has held many positions including
President and General Manager of his own manufacturing company,
Regional Vice President for a company formerly owned by IBM, and
President of his consulting firm. He has had more than 25 years of
P&L responsibility. His background in Services and Manufacturing
combined with his client experience give him the capability of
facilitating groups and individuals to attain higher levels of
performance. This results in enhanced organizational effectiveness and
personal development and growth.
Jim
has also been a guest on the television program “Money, Finance and
You”, spoken to groups such as the "International Productivity and
Quality Center", and authored the “Healthy Organizations” suite of
books which provide roadmaps for creating and maintaining profitable
and growing organizations. He has also served on the strategic planning
committees of start-up companies as well as a $600 million corporation.
